ReadySeal 2 part component blocker Primer

ReadySeal Blocker Primer

DESCRIPTION

Certificates:
BBA Certification No. 20/5797.

APPLICATION
Always test the primer and top coat fully before proceeding. If the test results are satisfactory proceed to apply to the whole area.

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from any contaminants including dust, dirt, oil, grease, algae and efflorescence. The product is moisture tolerant when used on concrete.

Add part ‘B’ to Part ‘A’ using a jiffy mixer blade attached to a slow running electric drill. DO NOT mix by hand as this can lead to areas of uncured material. Once mixed the product MUST be used within 40 – 50 minutes @ 20ºC.

Transfer mixed product to a roller tray and apply evenly to the surface using a medium-pile simulated sheepskin roller. brush or squeegee. Apply at a rate of approximately 4m² / kg (at 200 microns thickness coating weight coverage will vary according to the texture, porosity and evenness of the surface).

When used as a Bitumen Blocker/Primer
Allow the first coat to cure for a period of 12 hours before applying a second coat. Allow the second coat to cure for a period of 12 hours before applying the ReadySeal Liquid Applied Waterproofing Membrane. Two coats must be applied to ensure the performance stated is met.
