EshaFlex System

Reinforced Bitumen Membrane EshaFlex_logo SBS modified Reinforced Bitumen Membranes for use as partially bonded, fully bonded or mechanically fixed roof waterproofing on zero falls, flat or pitched roofs.  Suitable for refurbishment, new build and green roof applications. EshaFlex membranes are BBA Certified for ‘in excess of 30 years’ and can achieve a BRE Green Guide to Specification A+ ratings. EshaFlex membranes feature Groove Technology®, a patented underside finish that ensures the heat acts only where it is needed, reducing warming of the membrane, increasing melting of the PE foil. In application this means that EshaFlex membranes require up to 45 grams per m² (25%) less gas, reduce COproduction by up to 168 g/m² reducing installation times by up to 30%

EshaFlex Overlay System

EshaFlex Overlay Systems provide a cost effective way to upgrade an existing bituminous or asphalt roof with limited disruption or alteration. They are installed over a suitably prepared existing roof surface, a Radmat Total Care survey is required to assess condition and suitability.

EshaFlex Upgrade & New Build Systems

EshaFlex Upgrade Systems provide an efficient way of improving the thermal efficiency of an existing building, reducing the annual heat energy costs. They are installed over a suitably prepared existing roof surface, a Radmat Total Care survey is required to assess condition and suitability.

In New build a Radmat Area Technical Manager will work with the specifier to develop a specification and consult on detail design, thermal calculations etc.

Suitable for new build and refurbishment applications over numerous roof types, a slope in the roof substrate or insulation will be required.

Prime the surface of the insulation with EshaPrimer and then apply EshaVent partially bonded base sheet providing 40% bond area. Release film on underside is removed when installed over a primed surface, thermo adhesive bonding as cap sheet is torched.

INSULATION

ProTherm polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation to a thickness specified to achieve the U value (See Thermal calculation tab)manufactured from CFC and HCFC free grade of material to ensure zero ozone depletion potential and a global warming potential factor less than 5 and with a BRE Green Guide A rating. Either a uniform thickness as part of a sloping substrate or tapered to create the fall.

A choice of four:

Roof Deck options

Structural concrete decks can be classified as either reinforced (cast in-situ), precast, pre-stressed or lightweight aerated.

Profiled metal deck can be made from steel or aluminium in a variety of thickness and profile.

Composite decks typically comprise an insulation board core sandwiched between factory laminated steel or timber sheet.

Timber decks can be manufactured from eith plywood or Oriented Strand Board (OSB).
